Google says that by 2025 we will need move From 1.4 million workers to four million workers.
The Economist says that we need 67,000 more workers to build and man our chip manufacturing plants:
“A baseline estimate from the Semiconductor Industry Association, a trade body, is that by 2030 America’s chip sector will face a shortage of 67,000 technicians, computer scientists and engineers, and about 1.4m such workers throughout the wider economy.”
